Dr Slim Tea – how does it work?

According to the manufacturer/promoter it contains some miracle ingredients listed below;

Nagarmotha(Cyperus Rotundus); Sonti(Ginger);Triphala Extract,Tagar(Valeriana Walilichi); Musta, Pepper; Ppili; Baibidang Extract(Embella Ribes) Or Baividang;Green tea.

Those listed ingredients offer some health benefits. However, none of them are scientifically proven to be a true weight loss aid. Original and authentic green tea can suppress hunger for some extent – in fact drinking traditional black tea will curb your appetite!

Is this a scam?

Unfortunately, I have to say yes. The reason is it has been mainly marketed as a weight loss supplement. If it really contains all the ingredients it will give you some health benefits, but “weight loss” is simply impossible.

Doctor Tea cost about Rs 1600 for 30 tea bags. You can buy original green tea manufactured by Tetley or Lipton for around Rs 100 and can still have the same effect of Dr Tea.

TV commercial products are normally very dodgy, useless junk with exaggerated claims.  Also they are heavily priced (over-priced) to cover the cost of advertising and marketing.
